FYI: Mr B is at grad school tonight. So it's a McDonald's night.
Lil brother and I have been having "issues" lately with his cooperation and listening skills and manners. This afternoon he tells me, "'dults teach manners but dey don't have to use 'em!" Well...as you might imagine...I didn't take that lying down. And lil brother got more than he bargained for...and then some. He's also paying for his own supper tonight. Or going without. How's that for rude???
Sometimes ya gotta teach the tough lessons. Hopefully this will be one of those stories that you all will laugh about one day!
ReplyDeleteLOVE IT!! Taught my son a similar lesson when he kept kicking off his flip flops while he was sitting in the grocery cart. On the way to the car, I told him if he did it again that the shoes would stay where they landed. He kicked them off. I left them. He hasn't tested me like that since, lol. (Luckily they only cost $2.50!!!!) ~~Nivia
ReplyDeleteHe's too smart for his own good! Luckily he has a mama who can roll with that. LOL! He would run right over a lesser person. I'll bet he hated giving over that money to eat! Wish I could have seen his face!
ReplyDeleteLOL!!! he did NOT want to part with his money...but boy likes to eat...and mad mamma wasn't paying for his smart mouth!
